Crosswalked to the

This table was prepared by Chaplain Marshall Scott of St. Luke's South Hospital of Overland Park, Kansas.  The first column reflects those JCAPS Standards which were incorporated into JCAHO materials in February and April, 1998.  New-hire surveyors for JCAHO were educated in 1998 about these guidelines by Chaplain Razz Waff, president of JCAPS.  The second column reflects those JCAHO Standards to which the selected JCAPS Standards relate, as shown in the Crosswalk.  The third column identifies sections of policies, procedures and publications of St. Luke's South Hospital and of the St. Luke's Shawnee Mission Health System that document compliance at St. Luke's South with the selected JCAPS Standards.  Material for the first two columns was copied and pasted directly from the Crosswalk.  It was only necessary to add the material specific to St. Luke's South.
